Your marketing partner,
not another tool

We built HeyApprove for busy business owners who know email marketing matters but don't have time to become marketing experts.

The Problem

You're busy running a business. You don't have time to become an email marketing expert, figure out which holidays matter for your industry, decide when to send, or write clever copy.

Other email platforms give you a dashboard with 47 features and say "good luck." They make money regardless if you send emails or not. (Better for them if you don't.) They don't care if those emails actually work for you.

What you actually need is someone paying attention — someone who knows your business, watches the calendar, and tells you when it's time to reach out.

Our Approach

HeyApprove is built to be your marketing partner, not just another tool.

We learn about your business from your website and your connected POS system (Square, Shopify, or Mindbody — Clover is not connected yet). We see what products are actually selling right now. We watch the calendar for events that matter to your industry. When Valentine's Day is coming up and you're a florist, or Small Business Saturday approaches and you run a boutique, we'll let you know and have an email or text ready for you.

You just review it, approve it, and send. And when it's done, we track promo code redemptions through your POS to show you actual revenue — real dollars, not vanity metrics. That's how we price: we only make money when your campaign makes money.

Honest Marketing

A lot of marketing today relies on psychological pressure — fake urgency, countdown timers that reset, subject lines engineered to exploit anxiety, "only 3 left" when there are 300. It works in the short term, but it erodes the trust that makes customers come back, and it treats the reader as something to be worked around rather than talked to.

We made a deliberate choice to do it differently, and we built it into the product rather than leaving it to a style guide. The prompts that write your campaigns are constrained against manufactured urgency and fake scarcity — those aren't tools available to turn on. Every campaign is straightforward: clear about what you're offering, honest about why it matters, respectful of your customers' intelligence. No "LAST CHANCE!!!" when it's not actually the last chance.

Honesty runs through how the list is built, too. Email subscribers confirm by clicking a link before they're added — no purchased lists, no scraping, no quietly adding everyone who ever bought something. Texts work the other way: a customer starts the relationship by texting you first, so there's no list to build without their say-so. Unsubscribing and texting STOP both work immediately, no dark patterns standing in the way.

And nothing sends without you. Every campaign is a proposal, not an action — you approve it, ask for a change, or skip it. If you don't answer, it expires. There's no path from "HeyApprove noticed something" to "a customer got an email" that doesn't pass through your decision.

A quality product should be able to stand on its own. Your business doesn't need deceptive tactics to succeed — it needs to reach the right people with honest messages at the right time, and results reported in dollars you can verify against your own register, not opens and clicks that flatter a dashboard.

Built for businesses like yours

Brick-and-mortar businesses who want marketing handled, not another tool to learn.

Restaurants
Salons
Boutiques
Gyms
Florists
Jewelers

If you're running a massive e-commerce operation with complex automation flows, this probably isn't for you. We're built for busy owners who'd rather focus on their actual business.

The Business Model

We use outcome-based pricing, not subscriptions. You pay 5% of the revenue your campaign generates, with a floor and a cap: email campaigns cost $5 to $50, SMS campaigns cost $8 to $50, and email + SMS campaigns cost $10 to $65. SMS activation is free — we handle the toll-free verification.

This aligns our incentives with yours completely: we only make money when your campaign makes money. If your Valentine's Day promo brings in $600 through tracked promo codes, you pay $30. If it doesn't generate revenue, you pay the minimum. We're not trying to lock you into a subscription you forget about or upsell you on features you don't need.

This is why POS connection is required — we support Square, Shopify, and Mindbody (Clover is not connected yet) to track the actual revenue your campaigns generate.

The Founder

I'm Bryan Anaya. I've spent 25 years in UX and technology — starting at Microsoft on the Exchange team, then working at Indeed, and building systems for the Air Force and Space Force. Along the way I built email infrastructure that sends 20 million messages a month for large organizations.

Here's what I noticed: everyone builds for enterprise marketing teams with budgets and dedicated staff. Small business owners get handed the same complicated software and told to figure it out.

I watched my brother struggle with this at his coffee shop. He knows email marketing matters. He just doesn't have time to become a marketing expert — he's busy making great coffee. He shouldn't need a marketing degree to send the same quality emails that big companies send.

So I built HeyApprove. It watches your business and writes the campaign so you don't have to. It writes honest copy that respects your customers. And it only charges you when you actually send something.

The Company

HeyApprove is a product of Cherub Solutions LLC, a small software company based in Texas.

We're not backed by venture capital. We don't have a growth-at-all-costs mandate. We just want to build useful software, charge a fair price, and treat people with respect.

If you have questions, feedback, or just want to say hi — I'd love to hear from you.

Ready for a finished campaign?

We watch, we write. You just say yes.
